    Quick facts

    The details at a glance

    • 01Junior ages 11–17
    • 0215 English lesson hours per week
    • 03Maximum 16 students per class

    Chapter 01

Keep the travel plan in one place

Write down the confirmed arrival and departure details, the student’s travel documents and the contact plan for the journey. Check current entry and travel-document requirements with the relevant official authority and airline; requirements can depend on the traveller’s circumstances.

Make sure the school, agency or accompanying leader has the same flight information and knows who will meet the group at each agreed point.

    Chapter 02

Share health and dietary information early

Before arrival, tell the programme team about allergies, dietary requirements, medication, medical needs or accessibility considerations. SEDA Summer’s student details process asks families and group organisers to share important information ahead of the stay.

Keep the information current, and make sure the responsible leader knows how to access the details they need. For accommodation-specific arrangements, confirm how information will be shared with the host family or venue.

    Chapter 03

    Talk through the first days

    • Who the student should contact if plans change or they need help
    • How the group will travel from the arrival point to its accommodation
    • What the first lesson or activity day will involve, once confirmed
    • Which personal items and any required medication the student should bring
    • How the family and group leader will stay in touch

    Chapter 04

    Ask for the centre-specific details

SEDA Summer junior programmes are for ages 11–17, include 15 hours of English lessons a week and have a maximum class size of 16. Accommodation, arrival arrangements and daily schedules can vary by programme and centre, so check the information confirmed for your child’s dates.

A quote request is a good time to ask questions that matter to your family. Share the student’s age, preferred centre and likely dates so the team can respond with relevant details.
