Chapter 01
Begin with the experience you want
SEDA Summer’s current centre list includes Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway. Instead of choosing a city by reputation alone, start with your group’s priorities: the type of setting students will enjoy, the programme available for your dates and the learning or cultural goals you want to support.
The centre pages describe local settings and programme options. Use them to create a shortlist, then confirm the practical details for your own dates with the team.
Chapter 02
Compare the four centres
- Dublin: a capital-city setting, with the SEDA address on Capel Street.
- Cork: a southern city with a strong local identity and maritime heritage.
- Limerick: a university setting at the University of Limerick.
- Galway: a west-coast city, with English lessons at Yeats College.
Chapter 03
Match the centre to your group
For a first visit, consider how the location fits your group’s travel plan and the balance of lessons, activities and free time in the programme. For a returning group, ask what is different about the centre or study focus this time.
Do not assume that accommodation, meals, transport or excursions are identical in every city. These arrangements can depend on the specific programme and dates, so confirm them in the written quote.
Chapter 04
A simple decision exercise
- Write down the two most important outcomes for the group.
- Choose the city setting that best supports those outcomes.
- Check the programme page for the relevant centre.
- Send your preferred dates, ages and group size for confirmation.
Chapter 05
Still deciding?
You do not need to settle on a city before starting the conversation. In your enquiry, list the centres you are considering and explain what matters to your group. The SEDA Summer team can respond with details tied to your dates and programme type.
