    Chapter 01

Junior summer: a summer programme for ages 11–17

SEDA Summer junior programmes are for students aged 11–17. The current programme information lists 15 hours of English lessons each week and a maximum of 16 students per class, across Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway.

This is the option to explore when your plans are centred on the summer programme. Check the specific centre page for the current accommodation and programme details.

    Chapter 02

    Mini-stays: a school-group format

SEDA Summer mini-stays are designed for school groups in Dublin and Cork, with a minimum of 15 students. They can run from 5 nights to 4 weeks and are planned outside July and August, when the junior summer programme is in session.

A mini-stay can suit a school calendar or a group with a particular study focus. Dates and arrangements are confirmed for each enquiry.

    Chapter 03

Use these four questions to decide

    • Is the group travelling during July or August, or outside those months?
    • Are you planning for a junior summer programme or a school group?
    • Which centre and length of stay fit your calendar?
    • What are the students’ ages and the expected group size?

    Chapter 04

    Not sure which option fits?

Share the student ages, school calendar, preferred cities and approximate group size in your enquiry. If you are deciding between the two formats, say so; the SEDA Summer team can clarify which programme details apply to your dates.
